Development Projects

In addition to the KTJ series engines, Kale Jet Engines also carries out different new technology and product development projects.

We manage our research and development efforts in four dimensions:

• Fundamental Technologies and Techniques for Gas Turbine Engines

• Studies on Gas Turbine Propulsion Systems / Subsystems / Modules

• Development Methodologies and Manufacturing Techniques

• Market Trends and New Concepts

Our most significant capability in development efforts is the test infrastructure available at our Development and Test Center. This infrastructure allows us to carry out all necessary development tests and perform qualification activities. Additionally, with the Altitude Test System, we can conduct start-up and performance tests of jet engines under various altitude and speed conditions. These tests enable us to create Performance Codes and Dynamic Models, which are critical for the integration of jet engines into aircraft.

ONGOING DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS

We continue our research and development activities to add new engines of different types and thrust classes to our product family.

Through the Arat Project, the aim is to develop a new turbojet engine with superior performance. The engine under development will have much lower fuel consumption, higher thrust levels, and significantly longer lifespan compared to the current product family. This project marks the first step in transitioning Kale Jet Engines from expendable engine classes to long-life engine classes. The detailed design phase of the project is ongoing.
